After the contract is signed, we will quickly perform a title search and an appraisal, or any other necessary analysis of the property. Also, we will require the payees on the mortgage to verify the balance on the mortgage and confirm that their figures agree with your figures.
Typically, the closing will ocur at a title insurance company or lawyer's office close to where you live. You will provide the original promissory note and original recorded mortgage and sign the assignment of mortgage. You will receive a check for your mortgage. It's just that simple! |
